2025 camp has come to a close. It was an amazing summer with an incredible kids. We planted cucumbers for their take home plants. They also planted basil, tomatoes, lettuce and wildflowers. They learned how to make their own butter, bake homemade bread and build their own pizza from scratch start to finish. Animals were a group favorite where they got to care for ducks, chickens, cows, and goats. They got a surprise animal mid way through camp, a horse named Mater. He quickly become a crowd favorite. At the end they got to care for baby kittens. During barn chores they learned animal care such as mucking, feeding, training, brushing, riding a cow, moving chicken tractors, filling waters etc. A few extra outdoor activities involved de-heading and dissecting a snake, they each got to take home cured snake skin. They also got to learn how to process a chicken from beginning to end. So much growth happened in just one summer! Until next year!
